Free Business Money - Fact or Fiction?

Fiction! There is no such thing as free business money regardless of what infomercial you saw on late night television.

Sure there are government grants for this and that and several people willing to teach you (for a fee of course) how to get you hands that money. But, nothing in business, especially money, comes for free.

For example, your free business money isn’t free if you just paid someone for the information on how to get it…. Sigh… Not to mention the time and effort it takes you to source this money. Don’t waste your time.

It is a big mistake to think that you can just start up a business with free money. But, how can you find the money to start a business if you don't have any?

The first thing you need to do is decide on the type of business that you want to run then decide on how to fund it. However, this is where most people make their big mistake. For example, it is a mistake to choose a business based on how easy you think it is to get financing or based on how much money you think you can make from it.

There is only one really solid way to choose a business; because you LOVE it!

Any other reason is secondary. You must always pick something that you are passionate about and gives you purpose and is your true heart’s desire. If you choose a business for reasons other than this, what do you think will happen? You will be stopped.

As soon as a challenge comes along that is bigger than your true heart’s desire you will be stopped dead in your tracks. Why? Because, your resolve to get through the obstacle won’t be strong enough because your passion for it is less than 100% of your heart’s energy.

Once you’ve chosen a business that is truly the business for you then you need to go about finding your free business money. Wait a minute! I thought you said there’s not such thing as free business money? I did. And, there isn’t! Not in the way you think anyway.

You see, it’s only free business money if you don’t have to pay it back. And, believe me, you have to pay it back no matter what. But, it can be free or rather “freeing” to have start up money.

What do I mean by that? Well, and this may be difficult to understand on a conscious level but, money is free if you attach no negativity to its value. Say what?

Let me explain…

Most people are wired for negative thoughts and feelings when it comes to money. Take for example these statements which you may have heard growing up… “Money doesn’t grow on trees, you know!” “What do you think I am, made of money?” “That’s too expensive.” “We can’t afford that!”

Do you see what I mean? Most people are brainwashed into thinking and believing that money is always in short supply and that’s why they always have negative feelings associated with it. That’s why free business money is never free!

You pay for it with your feelings. Only if you accept that money has to be spent and you are not attached to spending it can it be free. It’s the same thing when it comes to earning money. Only if you can detach from how much money comes in can you really be free!

Based on experience I can tell you that for many years I believed that money was evil. Therefore I never had any. But, when I truly began to see how money is empowering and can empower others, did I even begin the process of shedding my negative association with it.

I also learned that in order to make a lot of money I had to have a proven formula for success and here it is in three parts; 1. Love the business you choose. 2. Know what you need to do to be successful in it and 3. Learn how to be successful from others who have paved the way.

There are many other rules to follow but these are the main 3. The fourth would be how to make free business money actually free. And, I believe that by training yourself to detach from spending money on business while at the same time being grateful and accepting of the money that comes you will truly be FREE!
